Formatting The Seagate Expansion Portable Hard Drive On Mac:

  1. Connect the hard drive to your Mac.
  2. On your Mac, open the Finder window and then open the Applications window.
  3. Select the Utilities option.
  4. Open Disk Utility and select your Seagate driver under the External section.
  5. Click on Erase at the top and then set the format to Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
  6. Now, click the Erase button.
  7. The Seagate Expansion Portable 1TB USB 3.0 Hard Drive will be formatted and you can easily access your drive on your Mac.
